Manila: Connect yourself to the colonial history, gigantic malls, architectural gems and vibrant nightlife
Metro Manila is a multipolar city in business, education, shopping, entertainment and tourism. The City of Manila is a place for travelers rather than for tourists. Even the so-called “tourist areas”, such as Intramuros, Binondo, Ermita and Malate, may feel a bit gritty and chaotic, and the beauty of the city is not obvious, as World War II has wiped out much of Manila’s historical architecture, it brings the past and future together known as the Pearl of the Orient. This happen to be the base for a lots of precolonial trade in Luzon, and later the seat of colonial power. From the Spanish to the American to the Japanese occupation, Manila was held a place of importance as the Capital City of the country’s history.
