Last April 2023, I had an urgent meeting in Barcelona for 3 days. Urgent means, this is way out of my budget and unexpected expenses. But because I needed to go there, I was searching for a very affordable yet decent place to stay. Searching the most budget yet nice and decent is not easy, most of all must be super near to our meeting venue where I can just walk at least 10 to 15 minutes. Lucky me, after a whole day of searching I found Unite Hostel Barcelona, just 2 to 3 minutes walk away from our conference venue. The room rate per nights was very affordable, That time I paid only 22 euro per night, though I stayed in a shared dormitory room with 6 others together, but it was worth it. The room features air conditioning and soundproofing and was exclusive for women with private bath room. It was also nice to have the facilities like linen, heating, the entire unit is accessible by wheelchair, soundproof, plus it has the socket right beside bed. The air conditioning was great, and the bed bunk has the attached locker for your safety storage, you must just bring your own padlock.
I would love to go back to this place again if I happen to have an appointment in Barcelona on my own expense :), the place is surrounded with all you need such supermarkets, fastfood restaurants, 400m from Ciutadella | Vila Olímpica Metro Station and 600m from Bogatell Metro Station (Subway). The closest airport is Barcelona-El Prat Airport which is 12 km away.
